Because of Billy Connolly I now associate the Scottish accent with (good) jokes.... or should I say funny stories. Every time I hear a Scottish accent I expect to laugh. And when it is Billy talking I am never disappointed.

Privileged to see him back in 1981. And what a Great Time it was! I first heard him in the mid 70s when Dad brought home one of his Records. Probably, "The Crucifixion" and "The Jobby Wheeker" and that Wee Ditty, "Last Train to Glasgow Central" on it! Still Funny as Ever! 😂😂

everyone has been abroad with someone that has had that happen to them i was lucky if you can call it that as i just got back to the hotel and needed to go and went to the public ones in the hotel opened the door and it looked like ten people had been so i walked out just in time for the two ladys who cleaned and guess who got the blame yeah me all i wanted was a piss not a dump lolol

Bought this video back in 1994 and both me and my missus used to love it. It's one of the few fond memories I have of her. I'd do the broken arse walk when we got off escalators in shopping centres and she'd be struggling not to literally piss herself laughing.

this isn't Ashington Colliery I did my underground pit training there and there is no sign of it now, a modern retail park with McDonald's and Halfords stands on the site, this is Woodhorn Colliery just outside of Ashington near Lynemouth and Ellington, both of which had collieries as well, this is a museum and not that good to be honest, no underground visits just the loco sheds and blacksmiths shop and a underground man riding train that takes people for trips along a stretch of line half a mile long, its OK'ish if you know nothing about coal mining but for this who do its very uninspiring,

Funny how you make light of something you never experienced because you’re not a Sensitive. Obviously you’re not an Empath. I discovered what I was feeling was real in 1979. I was in a group home and we lived near a very old cemetery. So some the kids wanted to do paper rubbings of the old grave markers. I sensed we weren’t welcome. I could feel them wandering around. I warned that we should leave. We’re not welcome. Well of course they laughed their heads off. So I went into the car outside the open gates and this was at night. Minute I walked out of the cemetery the feeling stopped. Not more than 10 minutes later everyone I was with, councilors included, ran screaming out of that cemetery. It was a closed cemetery and why they left the gates open who knows. And I said didn’t I warn you! They were scared out of their heads. Only one other time did I go into a cemetery to visit my parents. I was drawn to one grave. Got an image in my head. Got to the grave and for the first time did I ever see that a picture of the boy. Just like he showed me. He was in his 20’s. I said out loud I don’t know you why pull me! Next thing I knew Ingot an image of medical machines, tubes. And I got pushed! Next thing I knew I was pulled to a second grave of a person I didn’t know. The number 60 popped in my head. What the heck was 60! Got to the grave, saw his dates and he was 60 when he died. I was ticked. I don’t know you why pull me. Nearly got knocked down. I’ve never stepped foot in that cemetery again. I can’t visit my passed on parents or grandparents. I’m scared something else will happen. Visited my dead fiancé a month after he died. It was November of 1995 I went. November we usually get a dusting of snow. Every grave in his section was covered with a dusting of snow but not his! His market was flat and copper. I touched it. It was warm and vibrating. I thought OK I’m losing it. I felt him. I was staying with his parents until my apartment he and I got was ready to be occupied. I said to his mother what happened. Asked if she had the same thing with the marker, warm, no snow like the other graces and vibrating. I hoped she would say you’re imagining. Uh…nope! To her, who was also a Sensitive, it was normal. It took ten years before I had the guts to visit again. In Spring this time with a couple friends. I felt nothing. Marker was just a plain marker. I knew then he had moved on. When who knows. Haven’t been back since. I scared three people with what I saw in images. People can laugh all they want about these things if you’ve never seen or experienced things. Lucky you never to encounter some of these things.

Some of us are quite sensitive and we either see or feel it. It’s very unnerving.
